The Kascar Advantage - The CH850 Aluminum Chair

Designed for the Navy in WWII as a light weight, corosion resistant, nearly indistructable chair, this all aluminum classic has been redesigned for today.

All welds are polished smooth, enhancing the overall superior quality and attention to detail of the chair. The bottom "H stretcher" bars are completely welded and polished providing far superior fit finish and strength as compared to the more common tack weld.

What is the Kascar advantage?

The Kascar chair is heavier... the chair frame without a seat is about 1 pound heavier than the competition. With heavier aluminum members and more welded surface, the chair is also much stronger. When ordered with the cast aluminum seat the Kascar chair has almost twice the aluminum content of competitive chairs.

All alloys in the chair are heat treated to maximize hardness and strength. The majority of this weight is in the corner bracing and the aluminum seat pad, which creates a stronger over-all chair. In this configuration the 'tip over point' is also greatly improved over our competition as the center of gravity is moved down and forward.

The Kascar chair features extruded front legs greatly reducing apparent stress points found in the more common two piece welded construction.

Several seat choices are now available: Aluminum (Standard), fiberglass, and Upholstered (at an Extra Cost). This gives you a wide variety of color choice and design options, along with several price points.
